Geoffrey Evans

Professor Geoffrey Evans is Official Fellow in Politics, Nuffield College, Oxford. A long-time contributor to the British Social Attitudes series and the British Election Study, he is currently Co-director of the 2015 British and Northern Ireland Election studies, and the 2014 Scottish Referendum study. He has published widely in political science, sociology, and related disciplines, and is currently engaged in a project on the social and political marginalization of the British working class, as well as examining the rise and electoral implications of UKIP, the role of values and leadership evaluations in explaining party preference, and social and political change in post-communist societies.BSA Chapters
