Penny Young
Chief Executive of NatCen Social Research
Penny Young joined NatCen Social Research as Chief Executive in 2009, where her mission has been to bring the story of Britain through the diversity of its attitudes, behaviours and circumstances to more prominence. Her career has been focused on consumer, audience and social research and advocacy: most recently as Head of Audiences at the BBC Trust, the body charged with representing the licence fee payer (2005–2009); and as Research Director at the consumer campaigner and publisher Which?
